At Klarisana we believe that the way in which ketamine works to treat severe depression, bipolar, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) consists of both a biochemical and an “experiential” component. The vast majority of our patients who have had good results with ketamine treatment for mental health conditions have reported that the perceptual changes which occur during a ketamine infusion are far from being a side effect…they are an essential part of the therapy. In this video Dr. Carl Bonnett discusses the concept of the Psychotropic Therapeutic Response or “PTR.” The PTR is the experiential state that Klarisana targets with our dosing in order to optimize this experiential quality of ketamine infusion therapy.
